Please join SWE Detroit and SWE U of M for a soldering workshop at i3 Detroit in Ferndale on Saturday, March 26 from 1-4 pm. Please see event description below:

Learn to solder

Light Painter  March 26th 1 pm to 4 pm

Come one, come all! i3Detroit is hosting a make and take soldering workshop, no previous experience required.  We will teach you the basics of soldering and help you build a cool light up kit. You will take home a usb-programmable light painting wand that you make, tons of fun taking long-exposure photographs or just creating images that hover in mid-air. 

The cost would be $33 per person (includes the kit) with a recommended donation of $10 to i3Detroit. Kits will be provided so please RSVP by March 18th to allow time for i3 Detroit to obtain the kits.

Please note: SWE Detroit members will receive a $5 discount the day of the event.
