Tina Beauvais, CEO of EmBraced In Comfort, LLC, will be speaking at this event, on becoming an Inventor, Entrepreneur, and CEO of a small business. As a mother of two children with scoliosis, Ms. Beauvais used her engineering and sewing skills to come up with an unique design for bodysuits to allow children to use the restroom without having to undo all the straps and buckles of a scoliosis brace. Ms. Beauvais discovered that the need was great for other people to have a similar product, so she started her own business and patented the design. Ms. Beauvais grew her business, providing bodysuits and other products to people all over the world. In March of 2014, she won the AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists) Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
