BOO!! Calling all Halloween-lovers
and Engineers!
This year SWE Detroit is partnering
with Clarkston High School to help with their Haunted House Design
Competition. We are planning on giving an evening presentation to the
high-schoolers on October 21st to show them how to incorporate
engineering ideas and principles into making props for their spooky design
competition. We are inviting anyone who is creative, likes getting
crafty, and loves encouraging students to pursue STEM to join us in planning
and presenting to these students. The commitment would be a few hours or
preparation (either via phone or in-person meetings) and the actual
presentation on October 21st from 6-8pm at Clarkston High School. Contact
